Innovation Park brand identity wins Design at Work Award

Every year, the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario hosts Design at Work to illustrate how design creates value for businesses. Hundreds of designers from across the province take part in the exhibition, but only a handful are singled out as the best of the best in the juried competition.

With the help of Brian Dodo and Jen Cameron from BMDodo Strategic Design and Theresa MacBeth from BOOM Strategy, the Innovation Park brand is quickly making its mark – among many of the outstanding Design at Work entries, the Innovation Park logo was acclaimed as one of the top notable selections for 2008.

“Graphic Design creates significant value for any business and is often a key element to a company’s overall branding and success,” says Theresa MacBeth, President of BOOM Strategy.

The Innovation Park logo symbolizes the lifecycle of an idea from research to development to commercialization,” says Brian Dodo, Partner at BM Dodo Strategic Design. “It represents a thought bubble, emanating upwards as the idea grows and builds toward its potential. Each bubble contains separate elements, the combination of which are balanced and strengthened as a unified entity, symbolizing bright minds that come together to achieve a common goal.”

Innovation Park would like to thank both BM Dodo Strategic Design and BOOM Strategy for their direction and effort in helping to design and communicate the Innovation Park brand.
