Founded as Pathogen Detection Systems (PDS) in 2003 to commercialize rapid, automated microbiological testing methods developed at Queen’s University and patented worldwide, our company is part of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, a subsidiary of Veolia Water, the water division of Veolia Environnement, the world’s largest environmental services company.

PDS has recently become ENDETEC, the newly formed global sensor platform of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies.  ENDETEC will be headquartered in Kingston and will benefit from a range of microbiological and chemical sensing technologies that are being developed by the group.
